Trouser & Jeans Hemming in Eltham

Tailorise is Eltham's tailoring studio for hemming, alterations & repairs. We hem more trousers and jeans than anything else — it's our most-requested service, and we're set up to do it fast: walk in, try your item on with our in-house tailor, and choose standard or express 2-hour service.

How it works

  1. Walk in with your trousers or jeans — no appointment needed for hemming.
  2. Try them on with our tailor, who pins the length while you're wearing them.
  3. Choose standard turnaround or express 2-hour service.
  4. Collect (or wait, for express) — done.

FAQ

How long does hemming take at Tailorise?

Most trousers and jeans hems are completed in 3 working days. If you need it faster, our express 2-hour service (20% surcharge) gets most hems done while you wait or shop nearby.

What's a blind hem?

A Blind Hem (Invisible) is stitched by hand so no stitching is visible from the outside of the garment — the standard finish for formal trousers, suits, and tailored pieces.

Can I keep the original hem on my jeans?

Yes — our Original Hem service re-attaches your jeans' factory hem and stitching after shortening, so they keep their original faded look rather than a plain new hem.

Do I need an appointment for hemming?

No — hemming is walk-in only. Just bring the item in and try it on with our tailor.

Where are you based?

Unit 12, The Arcade, Eltham High Street, SE9 1BE — formerly SuperAlterations, same family business, 5 years serving Eltham.
